All-Time -- Sandy Koufax. Virtually unhitable in his prime, which sadly, did not last long enough.
Present Day -- Brad Penny
There are so many near the top with roughly equal talent. Johan Santana has probably been the best of the bunch these past few seasons. As a Dodger fan I'll go with Brad Penny. His only loss this season has been to the Angels.

Jack Morris....look at the 1991 World Series & the post season. You talk about getting the job done when it was all on the line. The man had ice water running through his veins & dominated the post season.
It was game 7 of the 1991 World Series between the Twins & the Braves. He pitched 10 shutout innings in game 7. Twins win 1-0. Now that is a clutch performer.

There would be a few options. Cy Young would be the first guy I would think of. 500+ wins will never be topped. Then again he also pitched in the dead ball era. Nolan Ryan stuck out a whole lot of people, but he lost a lot of games too. Roger Clemens is one of the best modern day pitchers of all time, but he really turned it on during the beginning and ending of his career. I would pick between one of those three.

Current: Johan Santana. He has the best stuff out of anyone in the majors, and is the closest to being a "sure thing" for a win.
Past: Sandy Koufax. Not only was he one of the best strikeout pitchers of all-time (6th in K/9 innings), but also has been nasty in the clutch. He has a 0.95 postseason ERA in 8 WS games.
