The Sun was Created to light up the earth so we can see each other. Its designed as a very long burning light. However when it comes to an end people on earth would be in total darkness walking around stubing their toes etc.
I Certainly would not like to be around when the lights go out.So as per the sad fate of the Sun's evolution we need to have another place where the lights never go out.
