Sure I remember them. Even found a website about them. Good memories:
"No other school supply exemplifies the 80s better than our favorite three-ring with Velcro. No, kiddies, we talk here not about the newer, trendier "Trapper Keeper" that has (*gasp!*) zippers! No, here we only refer to the honest-to-goodness original, the almighty Mead Trapper Keeper!"

Yes because my daughter used Trapper Keepers in elementary school.

I loved my trapper keepers. I think I had 4 or 5 of them. They were very popular when I was young. They were out the same time as Roos. You know, the shoes... I had both. Thanks for the memories!

Yes, of course! I remember one day I forgot it at home. I felt so lost without it. I remember telling my friends, "I left my trapper keeper at home!" hoping they could share in some of my angst. haha. I had to borrow paper the entire day.

I remember them. They are now a game piece in 80s trivial pursuit. I laughed so hard the first time I saw it!!
