does anyone really think a-rod hasnt used steroids, dont be ignorant, most players have, the reason people point the finger at bonds is he is not media friendly and so the media tells us to, than people say he went from a skinny kid to a large man, do any of you remember a- rod on the mariners, a-rod is so juiced up its not even funny , but baseball or the yankees or media will never point the finger at their golden boy, steroids have been a major part of pro sports,(college as well for that matter) since the 70's , and you think baseball doesnt know about it, they helped save baseball, the fact is bonds is up there with mantle, ruth, and mays , and now we all point the finger at him, baseball is the most traditional of all sports and is built around those legandary records, when ever one is about to be broken(especially by a black man- even though a black man currently holds the record many still associate those records to ruth) there will be contraversy, like when maris broke ruths record, and back tothe point yes canseco is credible youjust choose not to believe that your beloved steroid freak a-rod is just as guilty a most other players in baseball!!!!!!!!!!
think about it

Jose Canseco sort of reminds of NFL players who come out 3 or 4 years after they get out of college and tell the NCAA about money they got under the table. Obviously, he did not think there was anything wrong with taking steroids, but now, to make a few bucks, he's willing to put some other cheaters names in a book. Funny too how his sudden crusade to expose steroid users came only after he realized he would never play in the big leagues again, and only then when he could make some money on it by writing a book .(making him the first person ever to have written more books then he has read) It's funny too that you haven't heard much from him the last couple years, then he all of a sudden starts up again while Bonds is chasing this record. I personally wouldn't trust Canseco as far as I could throw him normally, but I have noticed that not one player that he has talked about has even so much as mentioned the idea of suing him for libel. If I were falsely accused of something as serious as using illegal drugs, I sure as hell would be suing that person for everything I could. So I must conclude that , at least in this case, Canseco is telling the truth. I still think he's pond scum, but at least he's truthful pond scum.

Ya I listened to that, too. And I was actually wondering the same thing. I think most of what he says will be true...but I don't knw about the A-rod parts. The guy seems to despise him and might just be trying to make A-rod seem bad. Jose seems like kind of a creepy guy though.

Jose Canseco has been very credible to this point. In fact, he is an unsung hero in that he has seemingly told the truth in his book. I haven't read it, but he certainly proved right about Rafael Palmiero, didn't he? So, I would say see what is in the book and decide then.

A lot of baseball players sort of imply that he's telling the truth, but they think he's a creep for doing it. Hard to say if he's credible or not because generally he's not been exactly the best citizen on the planet. But you dont see a lot of baseball players denying what he says either.

He will say anything to stay in the public eye, to promote himself, and make money. He has said he would like to become an actor and I believe he has been a "bad actor" up until now.
