I think we'd all be better off if people kept their sex lives or lack thereof more to themselves. At my age (52) I miss my ignorance of what my relatives and acquaintances were doing. Even some of my friends, I'd just as soon not know.
That said, many virgins believe this is the best way to go and are trying to encourage others to practice this also. Read the questions about breast-feeding if you really want to see people who think they're better. (And I breast fed both my kids until they were almost a year. Even used one of the first electric pumps for the one that spent his first two weeks in intensive care.)

I hate when people tell me what "God is going to do with me" or that I didn't know what I was doing, or that I should wait for marriage.
I have a pretty good spiritual relationship that involves MYSELF, no one else can really tell me how I'm going to be judged.
I knew what I was doing and dated the person I was with for almost four years before ever CONSIDERING sex.
If I waited until marriage I would be thirty years old, with a husband that was probably incredibly sexually unsatisfying.
Ugh.
Thanks for not being one of those "crazy" virgins. haha

Nope, I don't hate them. I just think they are pretty immature and simply haven't got it together yet. They have not learned the wisdom of respecting the rights of other people to have the exact same freedoms as they themselves would scream blue murder if anybody wanted to take from them. If a girl believes that at her age she is too young to be sexually active (and I admire it), good for her. Fine. But that is where her personal freedom ends. She can disapprove all she wants of those other girls who are sexually active, but those girls are NOT her responsibility, and it is NOT her right to stick her fat nose or her fat mouth into another person's life. If one of those gals ends up pregnant, unfortunately that girl is going to have enough to deal with, and enough consequences to suffer, without one of her "prissy peers" waving the banner of selfrighteousness at her.
I remember some years ago when one of those "holier than thou" virgins loudly condemned another girl who got pregnant out of wedlock. The following year guess who also came up preggers? Miss Goody Twoshoes herself. These are powerful hormones coursing through our bodies at this young age. Mother Nature doesn't give a rap about Romantic Weddings, and Virgin Brides, and Happy Families. She wants only one thing...... reproduction.. perpetuation of species, and she is going to pull every trick in her book to lure young males and young females into that kind of physical contact to make that happen. When you are young and immature, and all those hormones are raging, it's a reeeeal tough battle, and kids are up against a formidable opponent who has been successfully doing what she does best since the year dot.
I admire you on several levels. You are using some excellent good sense by keeping yourself out of "harm's way" at this time. You're also showing a lot of sense recognising the foolishness of this kind of girls, demonstrating their immaturity by playing that silly "nah n'nah nahh" game with their T-Shirts. I wonder if maybe they aren't at the same time playing a potentially dangerous "You can't have me" game with the boys too. Not very smart.
Anyway, keep doing what YOU're doing, and developing your skills as an intelligent and reasonable young woman. Some day when perhaps you have children of your own, something tells me they'll have a pretty good mom.

At my age (64), anyone proud of being a virgin hasn't had much of a life.

No, I don't hate anybody. But, I don't think it should be flaunted around like, "Hey look @ me I'm a virgin ... Tee hee Hee". IMO when people do that, they are hypocrites.
