I've been using Netflix for years and I'm very satisfied. However, I am curious to know what people think of Blockbuster's service. I would especially like to hear from anyone who has used both. I must admit the ability to exchange movies in store has got me tempted to switch.

The turnover with Netflix in my opinion is quick. They also have more of a variety of movies. I have been able to find several old movies on Netflix that I could not find with Blockbuster.

Yeah - so what you can go and return your movie at a Blockbuster store - but doesn't that kind of defeat the purpose?

I've used Netflix before..and it was a great service however I'm currently subscribed to Blockbuster and I like it alot better just mainly because I don't HAVE to send it back to them in the mail. I can go to the Blockbuster store and trade it in for a movie or I can just drop it off there & it tells the online store that it's been turned back in so they go ahead and send out the next one...So you can get the movies even faster :)...I just prefer Blockbuster a little more! :)

I started with Netflix as well, but then I switched to BlockBuster the allure of returning movies and getting 3 more while they mail another 3 is great.

Especially if your like me, I burn a copy of virtually all the movies I rent. So at most times I have 6 movies at a time I'm burning/watching and just constantly going through them.

And to you jackasses that are so worried about people burning movies, piss off, as long as your not selling them nothing is going to happen to you.

It's not as good as Netflix, Blockbuster refuses to carry any movie that's Unrated or NC-17, which is just about all older movies, foreign movies and independent movies. You should never put your money into a company like BBuster. Also, Netflix has a much larger library to choose from and actual customer service. BBuster is the devil.

i like netflix, movies get to me faster than blockbuster. and i dont have a store here in town either so the returning them in a store wont work for me. we have a family video, and i hate going there anyways so netflix it is for me!
