i have seriously done everything. i put in all the address things in my d.s that i got off my computer. but it always says "cannot connect to nintendo wifi". and i have also been on www.support.nintendo.com and everything is so confusing.
i have a WESTELL wireless router model 327W if it helps

make sure the wireless light is green and if it is not well you need to fix it and make sure you donthave it locked cuz then nothing can wirelessely hook up to it

Well, if you're having trouble, I suggest you buy a Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector. Well, that's what I did. I was also confused and never got to connect, so I bought the USB Connector. The setup is REALLY easy! Just a few clicks, and you're good to go! They range from about 30-40 dollars. For a used one, it would be about 25, but I wouldn't recommend buying a used one. I hope I helped! =). Oh, and you can also go to Hotspots like Mcdonalds and other places.

Wow, it sounds like you are doing everything right. Maybe try re-installing your router or something. If all else fails, try a hotspot like a coffee shop or library. If you still can't connect, complain to Nintendo. They are usually pretty nice about stuff like that as far as I've heard.
