that is tough, he has potential, give him another year and see how he does, it is too hard to say because he's only played a couple of games

No chance in hell will Tavaris Jackson be any good in the NFL. It is 1 thing for him not to have played major college football, but he was not even any good playing minor college football. You can not teach a player how to be a winner (how many great college quarterbacks were consistent losers in college at any level). Jackson is another draft combine baby in that he is a player who showed up for a draft combine where they shoved a tape measure up his butt and decided he was the right hight to play football and he got drafted only off of that.

No, he will be given the opportunity for 2-3 years, maybe do okay, then be relinquished to a backup role. He will stay in the league though, teams always need an athletic experienced QB. I would compare it to Quincy, maybe even Kordell, or Randel-El (maybe play a different position).

I certainly hope so. It will likely be a pretty difficult year for him with that receiving corps, but a great o-line and a solid running attack should help.
