For Orlando, ok lets see...
1. Kevlar vest
2. Fully automatic weapon (you pick, I suggest a G36E)
3. New civilian model taser
4. Maps of the area, with battle zones highlighted.
5. 6 days worth of food
That should get you back home safe and sound, but I can't make any promises!

You can call the local time and temp at 407 646 3131.
Shorts, shirts --all casual. Maybe one or two dressy casual for going out to a nice dinner place.
Sunblock, sunglasses, visor or hat, maybe skin-so-soft or other mosquito repellant if you plan on being in rural areas in the night.
Tennis shoes are better than sandals, but bring both. Wear Tennis shoes to the theme parks, esp if you ride the roller coasters.
Anything you forget you can buy, just go to Wal-Mart or Target, don't go to Belz Outlet or any other outlet or close to tourist spots.

I hear less & less places take travelers checks, but Disney isn't one of them. Save yourself ATM fees and get some TC's... What you don't use you can redeposit in your bank when you get home... Or if you have the self-discipline to pay off your credit cards in full each and every month without exception and to use them wisely then use them as your primary spending tool.
Consider cargo shorts instead of regular ones. If you have no bags in many cases you get to bypass the security lines, and w/ cargo shorts you can stock all kinds of stuff besides your wallet (cellphone, camera w/ spare batteries & flashcards, etc).
Clean, non worn out socks. If your's all have worn heals, go get more. And various 'footcare' products to deal with blisters, etc.
It's easy to pick up colds down there (or on the plane) so have hankerchiefs with you, else you will be stuffing your pockets with paper napkins & tp (not pleasant).

Well ya never know. Things get crazy down there in Florida and before you know it you might wake up a transexual. (People like to do sex change operations on you while you sleep.) I'd say bring the pads and tampons.

How can you be going to Florida in July for six days? There aren't even six days remaining in July.
