hi friends ...please let me knw to whom v can make a request to increase the salary of indian army officers as m a gal from canada and m in lov with a captain of indian army but due to his unreasonable earnings mah family will allow me to marry him.
please do me a favour and tell me is it possible to have mah dad's free consent for this marraige or i hav to request smone to increase the sallray ???

That would be the Indian government. But I really doubt they will listen to your request.

Hi Taran,
Take heart. I can feel your predicament. It seems your parents are unaware of the earning potentials and status of a Captain. The life style and standard you can enjoy with an Army Capt is far better than those of 90% of Indians in Canada.
To give a small example, a Capt can afford 2-3 servants
( official and civilian) which is beyond the capability of 95% Indians in Canada.
His earnings are not to be compared with the earning in Canada and then converting in to Indian Rupees.
Only compare the life style he enjoys in India, with hs salary and perks and Govt facilities with the life style of average Indian in Canada.Convince your father that a Captain , when in Canada, will have much better earning prospectus than most of the immigrants.This is from my personal experience.
If still your Dad is not convinced, give him my address or send me his phone No.I will be in Canada next month
Certainly some thing positive will come out.
Getting the salary increase , by writing to some one , is next to impossible. It is not that simple.

The Indian Army Officers are already paid a fat salary, with so many other concessions like free Rations, Medical, House, Clothing etc. What more you want?

Oh. I think if you just write a letter to the indian army and explain your problem they will raise the salaries of all the indian army officers. I mean geeze. How could they do that to you?

Reduce the amount of expanditure that political parties make during elections and stop the politicians from using the government vehicals for personal use. Sieze the entire property of curropt politicians.

Find a way to increase the GNP of India to three times that of America. Then, India might just be on par with USA and its military service people would be paid accordingly.
