I've put honey on those yellow trees for 3 weeks and i haven't found the fat bastard.all i've found is just a bunch of wurmple, burmy, combee,cascoon, and a couple aipom but no munchlax do i need the national dex or is the fatty just a hard *** to find

u need the national dex i think. and yes, he's in the trees. he's just a big lump of poo that wont come.

its really f************ god damn hard to find that @$$ because he's really rare to find. why don't you migrate a snorlax from pokemon fire red and put both a female snorlax and a male snorlax at the day care center and let one of them hold the leftovers item. then wait and you should get the egg for munchlax.
