EPS is the Earnings Per Share.

"ex" means "without" meaning the first day of trading that, if you buy the stock, you DO NOT get the dividend. This is significant because, for example, if the dividend was 38 cents, you should expect a drop in the value of the stock of .38 on that day due to the dividend rights going away the prior day. It doesn't work out exactly that way because there are a lot of other things that effect the price of the stock, but that's part of it.

EPS is earnings per share. For ex it may depend on the usage a bit. Ex-dividend is the date on which if you own a stock paying a dividend you will get the dividend, for example.
