As a huge Buffalo sports fan i want to know if you think that there will be a Buffalo Championship in the next 40 years

Ever is a long, long time.

Take it from a Red Sox fan - fortune sometimes smiles when you least expect it.

You'd think in a world with NFL and NHL salary caps that one of the two would get lucky. The Sabres could have won it in each of the last two years.

However, both teams have been pleading poverty lately, which isn't a good sign. If you don't spend with the big boys, you probably won't beat them most of the time.

One warning -- I'm not convinced that the Bills' long-term future will be in Buffalo. It's a small market and getting relatively smaller. Once Ralph Wilson passes on, all bets are off. I know that franchise would be worth much, much more in Los Angeles than Buffalo. It's going to be tempting for someone to move it.
