It's horrific what has happened here. It's only a matter of time before this site is destroyed. We're well on our way already.
I guess I will then have to go back to other sites that are better policed but less diverse. I felt very constrained in what I considered a conservative/Republican echo chamber.
Suspending an account for holding differing views is the cyber-equivalent of assassination. I mean it.
So how on Earth can we ask for anything approaching seriousness and accountability from our politicians when we (collectively) act so shamelessly ourselves?
I admire your passion. We disagree, but I really appreciate your mind and the fact that you care about your country. A good soul comes through in the posts of people who have them, loud and clear.
I'm sure we will always have very different views. But I write better posts because people like you and a couple of others are here to read them. When you were gone I felt myself getting nasty here and I mentioned it to another poster on the board. (Old man creeping me out! Eeew!)
I will not embarrass you further with praise. I assume this will all be deleted too so you probably won't even see it. Oh well. I'm sure we'll be respectfully arguing about something again soon.

Now that so many of the idiots (Both Sides) on here have 10 or 20 ID's, and all the cloning that goes on, I don't know how to block anyone.
So I don't. When I see one where they threaten my life, I just forward it to yahoo or put it in a post or question to reveal the idiots.

Well, they are out there. I got a rabid e-mail from some woman so I blocked her (only 1 of 2 blocks I have). So, she decided to leave me a message (even nastier) on my 360. When I tried to reply she had blocked me. Spineless!

Check the profile of the acct. she used to email you or answer your other question. How many points? How long as a member? If it shows that she's 'new', it means she deleted her yahoo! cookie and reregistered with the same name, although this requires that she was suspended by yahoo prior to reregistering. I get plenty of hate email from conservatives. My replies are pretty raunchy.

I don't know; same thing happened to me today; I finally had to block all e-mail, which I find really annoying. Must be a glitch in Yahoo's system.

They didn't include that feature in the block option.Weird but true.You can not close your mail to blocked users only.Your mail is open or closed to all.

I have never felt compelled to email anyone on this forum in an effort to force my personal viewpoints and those who do are simply overly emotional and irrational.

they were not blocked if their email was not blocked. I would try and block them again.
