Let
x = First integer
x + 1 = second integer
25 = total integers
- - - - - - - - -
x + x + 1 = 25
2x + 1 = 25
Transpose 1
2x + 1 - 1 = 25 - 1
2x = 24
2x / 2 = 24 / 2
x = 24/2
x = 12
The first integer is 12
The second integer
x + 1
12 + 1 = 13
The second integer is 13

An integer is a whole number. Consecutive means one has to follow the other. Therefore, only 12 & 13 will answer your question.

LET x be the 1st integer, therefore, the second integer will be x+1 since it is consecutive.
since the sum of the 2 nos. is 25,
x + (x+1)=25
x+x+1=25
2x+1=25
subtracting 1 from both sides,
2x=25-1
2x=24
dividing both sides by 2,
2x/2=24/2
x=12
therefore the 2 nos are:
x=12, and
x+1=12+1=13

12, 13
The easiest way to do these is to divide the number in half:
25/2 = 12.5. Then take the integer above and below it (12, 13).
If the problem was for an even number (like 26), you wouldn't be able to find two (consecutive) integers that add to it. :(

Let x= the 1st interger, and x+1 = the 2nd,
so x+x+1=25, or 2x=24, and x=12, your answer is 12 &13

I rather suspect you have mistated the problem - what 2 consecutive integers squared equal 25.... Maybe I am wrong...
