You know, Hillary could steal the election (republicans), so don't roll your eyes.

counted in the open, not behind closed doors?

This can be done. It is not hard to do. This is how it HAS BEEN done since we became a nation.

When it comes to Politics, I'm confident in NOTHING. & paper ballots are JUST as easily "lost", "misplaced", or "tamperd with"- as ANY of the others. MY only HOPE is, that ENOUGH people turn out- to vote for ONE person- so that there can be NO QUESTION they were elected for a reason.

I am confident that there will be fraudulent votes cast in the next election. I would not be suprised if a fair share of the illegal immigrants do not find a way to cast ballots. Our late registration drives coupled with our early voting in my state opens the doors to fraudulent voting, with or without a paper ballot. If a ballot is questioned at our polls it is placed in a provisional box, but still counted.

probably gonna have some big mistakes again cause we are still working out the bugs in the computerized balloting, it will take a couple of times to get it right , just look at all the bugs windows vista has, its not so much fraud as trying to modernized the system to a extent

In Canada and the U.S.A., election fraud is the exception not the norm. You will always have individuals the want to sway results in their favour illegally. We have numerous checks and balances in Canada and the U.S.A. which helps to catch the corrupt individuals.

Chances are very good that the general outcome will be correct; not swayed by fraudulent practices.

Good Luck

You mean like the Democrats who gave crack to voters in Toledo Ohio for votes. And taking legal cases that are unfounded to the courts and getting them laughed out by liberal judges.
Or maybe like Obamanatiohome turf of Chicago where they register dead people and count them.
We know who tries to steal elections and you still lose as we the people are on the right.
By the way Obama has an innocent man jailed and his PR people lie to cover it up. Even the left blog of Politico.com tried to set the facts strait and you all on the left still lie.
Say good bye in 08 as we will not be late. And make sure to vote on the next day ha ha.

There will be errors somewhere, intentional or otherwise.

"Will you demand confirmable paper ballots?"

What would that do? Would everyone in the US get together and do their own recount, lol. Besides, I guarantee you that people would craft faulty paper trails to throw off private recounts, and a paper trail destroys the anonymity of voting.

There will DEFINITELY be the standard election fraud that we see every year, especially in the cities. Which is why Democrats are so against national voter ID cards. I would like to see electronic biometric verification, but that would be protested by the party that benefits the most from fraud too.

Don't talk to me about correctly counting votes. I lived in Florida during the hanging chad era. Election and voter fraud knows no parties my friend.

Yes, they'll be fair this time around.. There isn't a member of the Bush Family, or the "Good Ol' Boy Network" Running for Office.

The fix will be in, in 2012 though when Jeb runs.

I have no confidence in a perfect system with no possibility of tampering. However, I also lack confidence in the American people to make wise and well-informed decisions with their votes.
