belt tensor location on a 1999 chevy malibu V6?

got my alternator off, but need to release the tensor bar to relieve the belt. where is it and how do I move it?

My question is how did you get the alternator off without releasing the belt? If I not mistakin the tensioner should have a pully on a bracket that looks like an arm attached to the block does nothing but spins like an idler pully but without being on a arm looking bracket and it should have a bolt head in the center of it then put a wrench on it and pull away from the belt not towards it
