Well, i've been emotionally sensitive all my life.

I write a lot, so I like to daydream up different scenarios.

So the other day I was bored and was daydreaming this weird senerio where I was in this hospital with some guy who was about to die. When he finally died, I cried in real life.

Am I insane??

nope...starved for reality in a 'reality show' world...looking for a book plot to find its way into your life...just plain unhappy and wanting a way to express it...."correctly." you're not insane at all, quite the opposite, really.

No of course not :) This is your personality type. Some people are very sensitive. These people are often beautiful souls with a lovely and idealistic outlook on life. Dreamrs are necessary and amazing people. My fiance is very sensitive and everyone loves him for it.

But if you find you're really overreacting to normal every day situations, or if you daydream too much and find you can't concentrate that might be bad only because it can really make your life stressful. If that's the case, maybe seek out some help on how to cope when you're feeling emotionally overwhelmed.

But don't EVER second guess your dreaminess. It's a precious thing. You should be proud of it. You probably have a lot of empathy and compassion for others too. We so desperately need that in this day and age.

Everyone is emotionally sensitive. God made humans so that they feel a certain way depending on what they feel emotionally and experience with their physical senses. God is also emotionally sensitive to things. But he is perfectly controlled unlike us.

Rich people who are wise in their own eyes when they are not are emotionally sensitive to being insulted. It hurts them badly to have their pride challenged.

It is very good to be imaginative (depending on what you are imagining) because it can help you to prepare for something). For example I used to imagine scenarios in which I would see how a person would respond to certain things I said, like all the most likely things they would say. That will only be so helpful however since you need to observe people engaged in arguments or what has been said already. That's very easy to do thanks to the internet and to God who made the internet possible.

People will often dream up certain things in order to make themselves "emotional" in other words to feel deeply certain things. Some people call that being a drama queen. The reason people do it is to get others to pay attention to them and to be loved by those people or exalted in the eyes of those people. It's not good to do that because you should be behaving in a way that is pleasing to God, not being emotionally unstable or illogical or emotionally "loud" for love. You should simply be logical and loving and express joy when it is truly appropriate.

Possibly. I'm sensitive in a way - about certain things - but I if I were too emotional I'd get annoyed at myself. I know what type of person I respect - people who are strong, confident, intelligent, kind, logical, and personable. That's the kind of person I want to be. I don't like emotional cry babies - but some people do! I think if you really wanted to not be so sensitive you'd be working towards that, but it doesn't sound like you are.

You should definitely get some kind of job that requires you to do something. Counseling would help a lot too, that way you can get to the deeper side of the scenarios you are dreaming up.

No. Some people are just more tender-hearted. It just means that you're a compassionate person. Consider careers that have the word "care" in them... child care, health care...

People are different. Some are more sensitive than others.

Just accept it as part of you.

No, you are not insane. You are just expressing your feelings that we all feel from time to time. It's your chemical makeup and you can't change it.
