Obviously, you suffer from depression, which is a serious mental disorder that often leads to suicidal thoughts. It is not just an occasional bad mood, it is a ongoing situation. However, all is not lost. You need psychiatric help. There are medications that can brighten your mood and get you back up to where you view your world with pleasure and anticipation instead of the dark and dismal thoughts that are going through your mind right now. Some of these drugs have side effects, and not all of them work as well as others. It takes a little experimentation on the part of the doctor and you. But eventually, you'll find one that works. The treatment also consists of psychotherapy, to get to the root cause of your depression. I sincerely hope you will get some help, because I think basically you're a great guy. Get rid of those shadows of despair, and go back into the sunshine again. Good luck, guy. I have faith in you.

It could be that you miss your home and friends, the familiar places of your last home. Moving is in the top 10 most stressful things that can happen to a person, along with changing your job, suffering an illness or having a divorce. If the country you live in now has different weather, damper, colder with longer hours of darkness, that could have a significant psychological and even physical affect on a person. Going from a sunny climate such as Mediterranean Europe, California, Australia etc to the much colder and wetter Norther Europe would have a depressing affect. It may take a long time to get used to the weather.

Your feelings are very common, and experienced by most people at some time in their lives. The only advice I can give is to try to turn your negative feelings into something positive, learn from them, and keep in mind that this too shall pass. It helps to talk to others, either friends and family or professionals. Also, keep yourself busy with work or hobbies so you have less time time to think about how much everything sucks. :D

I have struggled with this too, although I have never attempted suicide. There are a few things that helped me. First, you need purpose. Pray and ask God to show you what He made you for. Also, find people who need encouragement and help them. You could also volunteer. When you give to others, God gives to you. When you seek first God's Kingdom and His righteousness, everything else will be added to you. Remember what it says in Psalm 37-- Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart. If you are already thinking about ending your life, why don't you just completely surrender yourself to God and serve Him with all your heart. He will do exceedingly abundantly above all you could ask or think!
Also, something that helped me with low self-esteem... Write down every Scripture you can find about what God says about you. Then take at least 15 min a day and meditate on them.
Don't give up! God has a great future for you. Serve Him with all your heart and He will do awesome things in your life.
Jeremiah 29:11
"For I know the plans that I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you a future and a hope."
Romans 8:35-39
Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Just as it is written, "For Your sake we are being put to death all day long; we were considered as sheep to be slaughtered." But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Hebrews 13:5-6
... He Himself has said, "I will never desert you, nor will I ever forsake you," so that we may confidently say, "The Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid. What will man do to me?"

Honey, this sounds like a classic case of clinical depression, which is treatable. Don't let it go on - it just gets worse. Go see your doctor right away and explain how you feel. Peace and good luck

Sounds like some symptoms of depression.
I'd suggest going to a doctor and talking about your problems.

your a smart person that sees the world for what it is, your christian side wants to believe that theres hope , but your logical side knows there is none... you may see so many problems and know that you cant fix them all, but youd like to. the first step you have to take is, and im sorry im the one to tell you there is no santa .... but there is no santa.... and your suffering from depression... i recommend taking your booty down to the nearest strip club for a well deserved night out ... and the word sin is latin , it means with out ... and dont go with out , because its not arm'a gettin' , arms have been got ... come play kid...
