ive got pokemon pearl and many pal codes to battle and trade people withbut each time im about to battle or trade with someone it comes up with an error and disconnects me, this happens aswell when some people try to connect with me too.....is it a problem that needs to be solved or is it just a small connection problem?

Finally found a way to contact you. It's me Syaoran, one of your friends. I read online that if you get an error code between 80000-89999, it means that you most likely have a firewall up. Here are two links to see what you can do:
