It starts with loudmouths like Bill O'Rielly demanding a crack down on sexual predators and strict ironclad zero tolerance laws, and somewhere down the line we end up with this:

Where I'm coming from is that people like O'Reilly and the Dateline Catch a Predator series sensationalized the issue, making it look like there was some epidemic outbreak of child predators, when the fact was that there wasn't. Then people get all upset and moan to their reps in government, who in turn write ridiculous laws that would try these kids as sex offenders, and force them to register for life.

What in the world does this have to do with sexual predators and child abusers?

Where are you coming from. O'Reilly would be the first one to scoff at a story like this!

I support the laws that he has fought for.

Slapping a girl on the derriere is *not* a "handshake", especially in a school. In the workplace, you would be fired for sexual harrassment!

I don't favor "zero tolerance" philosophies, but we *should* crack down on sexual predators. In fact, they should be exiled to a remote currently-non-populated island in the Pacific where they can live out their lives away from everyone else.

This is a Prosecutor with an agenda, and that agenda is probably to either get re-elected or to highlight a law s/he considers ridiculous - like maybe there is a "zero tolerance" for touching, and the Prosecutor thinks there should be an allowance for young teens.

The same reason a preteen girl was suspended from school because her mother included a knife in her lunch box to cut her apple with.

I remember in junior high popping girl's bra straps for no other reason than to be ornery... but with today's political climate that might same juvenile behavior might end me up in the slammer.

Grow up and get in the real world, Sexual assault is Sexual assault. If some guy walked up and started playing with your mother's bottom I guess you'd just laugh!
