I know that they got rid of Matt Schaub, which now appears to be a stupid decision. Who is Vick's back-up now? It appears they will be getting some playing time next season.

Joey Harrington, he went to the University of Oregon. I went to all of his college home games, he was fantastic! But his little Detroit stint landed him in a backup job in the NFL.

Pros:
1.Great feet in the pocket
2. Team leadership
3.Was nicknamed the comeback-kid in college, he knows how to comeback and win a game
4. Pressure situations, he came through in just about every close game he has played in his carrer

Cons:
1. Inconsistent, throws to many picks
2. Risks, he trys to fit the football into tight holes in the zone
3. His reputation, everyone knows him as a really bad QB in Detroit, people wont cut him slack.
4. Lack of confidence

Summary: With time Joey will become more comfortable with the offense. Not as many athletic receivers will limit spectacular catches, therefore causing him to be more accurate. If he overcomes this, he land the starting job for a while. But with D.J. Shockley at the helm, many Falcon fans calling for his head early if he doesn't get it done. Joey himself will say, if they were calling for his head, it didn't bother him, but as it showed in Detroit, he needs confidence. Atlanta wont rely on him too much. Having an above average defense, and an extremely good running game which once lead the NFL not too long ago. But look for interceptions to be the deciding factor.

Harrington, Shockley, Redman.

It's going to be interesting who emerges as the starter.

Also, Culpepper and Aaron Brooks might end up in Atlanta.

A more prudent question is: Who is the starting QB for Atlanta? Vick is done. I wouldn't expect him to ever play again to be honest with you.
