Your produce more lubrication when turned on, so you have less friction (ouch) between his penis and your vagina. You shouldn't have sex if you aren't turned on. Make him work for it.

YEs, it's normal. What is probably happening is that when you are not in the mood, you are not producing the fluids and lubricants your body normally produces in preparation for sex, so in other words, you are staying too dry and the sex is hurting. Whereas, see, when you are in the mood the opposite happens.. I would suggest some lubricant for the times when you are just not that into it..There are some really good ones out now like Astroglide and KY makes several--even some that are warming or tingling etc... (but not the plain old normal KY--this stuff is different).........
And if you use it occasionally, your hubby doesnt even have to know why you are using it..(that is if you didnt want him to know).........
And they are safe to use when they are made for that purpose..Some ppl will use just any old thing and it sometimes upset the normal vag flora and hence, yeast and bacterial infections.. etc.... I will stop now.. I think I am getting into the TMI area........................lol
Hope that helps...

Who is to say what is normal? But I do understand exactly what you are talking about. It may be because you are not in the mood so your body is not relaxed and ready like it is when you are in the mood. When you are not in the mood and you want to satisfy your husband request a little more foreplay so you mood can change and relax your body

If women aren't in the mood, their fluids and hormones are usually not aroused, and that can affect your sexual pleasure. Your husband should do more foreplay until you are ready, or pick a better time.

If your brain doesnt want it your body doesnt want it either. Its all mental. When you dont want it, you dry up and tighten up. When ur in the mood yu get wet and relaxed to take it. he can work harder to get you in the mood. If he trys hard enough with foreplay he can make you want it.
