Blacks have equal rights here. Yes, many blacks live under poverty level, but it's mostly their fault. Look at the Asian community and how they have prospered and succeeded. Yes, there's still racism, and you'll always run into ignorant people, but in general, people aren't out to get you. Make sure if you come here, you come here legally!

False. The racists ones tend to be the loudest. Trust me, most of these people shooting off on Y!A are way too scared to ever act out their true feelings in public so instead they get tough on the Internet. I wouldn't put it past many of the govt. officials and politicians for being racist, but the majority of the country is NOT racist.

That would depend on where in the US you went.

The back woods town where most of my family came from just took down the sign warning minorities to stay out of town after dark just a few years ago.

As wrong as it is, there are still a few isolated places here where racism still runs rampant and those places are still dangerous for minorities and those who oppose racism.

Everyone is welcome to come visit except for murderers rapists and child molesters, we don't need any more thieves either but other than that you would be pretty safe. seems that yahoo answers has been really hit with a spate of redneck bigots. well four in particular who seem to do nothing but write things not to nice about Africans Jews and Arabs, none of them know anything about Africa are Arab culture or history. Sure don't know of the African warrior tribes that kept the English out of parts of Africa till the middle of the nineteenth century such as the Edo kingdom. No, there are very few problems with racism any more. You only get lynched here by the PC Nazis if you are Christian, Conservative, or a smoker. If you tell them your gay, and vehemently support mandatory abortion, you'll fit right in.
