its fine, the reason for remote start is to cool down in the summer or warm up in the winter before you go get in the car.

That is the whole purpose of having remote start to get the car cooling down A/C on or out on the driveway start up in winter while your having the morning cup of coffee. Heater on and melt the show and ice off of the car. It is using fuel but what the heck any gasoline we don't use the China National Oil company will be happy to have.

No, because the engine will still shut off at a certain time just as if a person started and shut off the engine with the a/c on.
