It is pain behind my eyes and is not a sinus or eye problem.

It is kind of a dull achy pain that I sometimes get every day, had tension headaches before, but this is much worse

valium has muscle relaxer action as well as anti-anxiety. That my be why it helps. Could be a lot of muscle tension of the head muscles.

Diazepam is a muscle relaxant as well as a sedative. Maybe you have a lot of muscle tension.
