If you are American you now need a passport to leave the country period, even for Canada. You don't have time for regular service even expiated service $150 extra will be questionable. Your best option may be to take the day off and go to your closest Passport agency and do it in person. I want to the Miami branch to do this. It will take you a whole day but at least you will get passport in hand and not have to worry about the mail. Good Luck.

Yes. You need to go ahead and take care of that ASAP. You are at the point where if you put it off for a couple of weeks, you will have to pay alot extra to get it to you on time, and you WILL NOT be able to go PERIOD if you don't have one.

Take case of this right away, and have fun!
