I once asked if I could place some Wicca literature in a hotels rooms. The manager was affronted. So much for Freedom of religion and equal rights in the USA. Yes, there were Gideon Bibles in the rooms and in my opinion a bible is as much propaganda as any other sales item or religious tract. That makes the Gideons co-conspirators in working to keep away information of all religions but Christianity. Gideon's vocation in the Old Testament was destroying other religions.

The Gideons are a group of men who place Bibles in Motels, Hotels, Hospitals, and jails for free. Far as I know the have nothing to do with Ghosts and Goblins?

Gideon (Hebrew: ×Ö´Ö¼×Ö°×¢×Ö¹×, Standard GidÊ»on Tiberian Giá¸Ê»Ã´n), also known as Jerub-Baal, is a judge appearing in the Book of Judges, in the Bible. His story is told in chapters 6 to 8. He is also named in the Epistle to the Hebrews as an example of a man of faith. He is the son of Joash, from the clan of Abieezer in the tribe of Manasseh. The name Gideon means "Destroyer", "Mighty warrior" or "Feller (of trees)".
