ok i went on a website and i wanted to see the source code so i went to view source but it doesnt appear

The programmer is using javascript to prevent context menus (right-clicking) on his web page. Go to your browser's settings and disable javascript, reload the page, and try it again.

If that doesn't work, then it may be that you're not clicking on the right part of the page. If you right click on top of an image, for example, you will not get a "View Source" option.

On web sites that are used with spam the words that appear are often part of the image rather than being there as text. You can see a reference to an image file but not realize the words are in there. That is how they keep from being detected by anti-spam.

Internet explorer

Go to View (in the top menu bar) and then go to source.


Firefox

Go to View (in the top menu bar) and then view source or ctrl+u.

You may also right click and select view source in both the browsers but apparently that is not helping you out.


Ps: You can be helped out way faster if you state your complete issue i.e. along with the URL!

This means that the web site creator does not want you to see it and they disabled the ability to see source code.

right click on page >
select 'view page source' [or something similar depending on browser]

and there it should be. the entire code.
