If I go through a drive-thru to pick something up, it sometimes ends up being free if there's a guy cashier. My friends love doing this and have no problem getting great discounts at restaurants. I hate it, because it makes me feel like a moocher. I went to a restaurant a few weeks ago with a friend of mine, and the waiter made up some ridiculous excuse about our food taking too long, even though it wasn't long at all. He gave us the entire dinner free. My friend thought this was great, but the injustice of it made me feel bad. I left a $20 tip, because our food would have been more than that anyway if he'd actually charged us.
