She did make him happy, but she made records of her singing that sounded like cats being burned to death.

because shortly after hooking up with Yoko, John Lennon changed his sound, then decided it would be best to pursue his own career because he had different views of how music should be, how it should affect change in the world and he view on life differed a lot from the rest of the Beatles. He didn't care about money anymore, he cared more about uniting the world and stopping wars. He felt the only way he could truly inspire change was to dedicate his life and his entire career to pushing for change, he felt that the rest of the Beatles may not share the same sentiments. Hence his most memorable hit, Imagine. A song about people coming together in peace love and harmony. People assumed that Yoko pushed him to break up the Beatles in order to be a solo artist, which Yoko, Paul McCartney Ringo Starr and George Harrison have all said is false. The Beatles had simply just run its course and John needed to make a statement on his own.

At the time, people (the public) blamed Yoko Ono for "breaking up" the Beatles. Favorite Yoko Ono quote: Women are the N---s of the world."

John Lennon was weird enough on his own, but Yoko pushed him over the edge. Yoko Ono wasn't cute, had no talent, and she kept John all to herself and encouraged him to get even more strung out on drugs. Allegedly, Yoko Ono helped break up the Beatles.

people said that yoko ono was the reason that the beatles broke up, or at leaast help make that happen

they said she would keep on buttin in, and tell the beatles how to write their music and stuff

also, yoko ono and the beatles never really got along (except for john)

they said that she was not attractive and that john could have had anhone in the world that he wanted and he stuck with her

she didnt have a lot of musical talent either, even though she thought she did

and after john died she got a lot of his money, which people think she shoulkdnt have gotten

it was said that she is one who got between john and paul, which people believed was the reason the beatles broke up

people think she was just a stupid person who happened to be married to one of the world's greatest musicians

hope this helps!!!

Yoko was blamed (incorrectly) for breaking up The Beatles. By the time The Fab Four made Abbey Road (last album they made, but not the last album they released), they were in their late 20's and fighting constantly. It was time to end it.

Just so you have some perspective on The Beatles, their final concert together was in August 1966. John & Yoko didn't meet until November of that year. The Beatles final performance together was in January 1969. John & Yoko didn't marry until March 1969.

I can't say not knowing her personally that I don't like her. But she is associated with the band breaking up and the Beatles were "IT" for many people. She also doesnt realize she doesnt have a great voice or maybe doesn't care. Either way. I agree. She seemed to make John happy and together they caused some people to think about some important issues.

I think a lot of people blamed her for the Beatles never gettign back together. Yoko and John kind of isolated themselves from society for awhile and made their own music, lots of fans viewed this as a kind of betrayal.

She is viewed by many fans as the person who drove a wedge between Lennon and McCartney. It is a myth that has taken fantastic dimensions by those who don't take into account Lennon-McCartney had been together in bands for about 15 years at the point when McCartney quit the group.

Because she and John Lennon shared such an amazing love that all the haters blamed her for John not wanting to make music with the Beatles any more. Like he was supposed to forget about the great love of his life, just to please his fans.

A lot of people blame her for the band's breakup even though John did love her.
