i think the outfit was the whole reason the movie ws made. michelle phiffer was a better catwoman. dont get me wrong halle is an awesome actress but catwoman was bad!

Because the story was simplistic and unoriginal, the dialogue was God-awful, and the characters were dull. Seeing Halle Barry in the outfit was about all the movie provided for entertainment, and that simply was not enough for most people.

Her horrible catwoman leather outfit made Halle Berry look like a stripper.

I remember they had this movie playing on a flight to Vegas, the lady came around and asked me if I wanted to buy headphones for $2. I said no. I was perfectly fine just watching the movie with no sound to see her in that suit. It was very enjoyable that way.

Because it wasn't that good. There was alot of hype about the movie, and it didn't live up to that hype.

I don't know. I've only seen that version though. I thought it was pretty good.
