I know its important to be able to dance well in order to be on Broadway I am a teenage boy but I can move well but I know I need to be better

As for starting locally, choreographers are clever... if you can sing and act, many people will work with you on the dancing and there are plenty of shows out there that do not require all that much dancing anyhow. In the meantime of course you should get yourself into as many classes as you can handle without killing yourself and work on it. If you can be a serious triple threat, that's the best way to go! By the time you're ready for broadway, you'll have had time to work on your dancing and gain a ton of experience since most theatres lack talented boys, I think you'll work with no problem as long as your singing and acting are indeed up to par :-)
