oh like linkin park? Yeah its really cool; i loved when they did the Jay-Z thing. So much of the best styles of music come from a fusion!
I love reggae and punk together (ska) like Reel Big Fish, and bhangra with techno or drum and bass.
Music that is it's own genre rocks!!

I definitely agree with you! I think rock and rap sounds great together. I think the mash-ups that Linkin Park and Jay-Z did together were awesome, though it wasn't the first time anyone has done that before. Though it was made a big deal of, because it hadn't been done in a long time. It's just a shame that a lot of other artists don't come together like they did and create some awesome music!
