The guy couldn't outdebate Dick Cheney. How's he gonna outdebate the 2008 Republican nominee? John Edwards: Great guy, stands for good things, no chance at winning.

Bush already did that once so now it's to the point where the 'working class' hardly pays any taxes at all, if any. In fact, many of what you probably think of as the 'working class' actually receive an earned income tax credit which means that not only do they not pay taxes, but they get a government hand out in the form of thousands of dollars every year. He knows that. I'm just amazed you'd fall for that trick.

Personally, I thought it was pretty funny when Senator Fabio brought his 'poverty train' here to Virginia, one of the most prosperous states in this booming economy, a state with an unemployment rate of less than 3%. He's selling ice to Eskimos, dude.

Edwards is not cutting or raising taxes for anybody. He is an ex 1/2 term Senator from NC who wasn't going to get a second term, who could not help John Kerry win a single southern state. He is a non-factor in this election.

I really hate to tell you this but corporations don't really pay taxes, they just collect them. Part of the price that you pay for any commodity includes the tax that the corporation will have to pay on it's net income from that item, so they aren't paying it, you are. Raising the tax rates on corporations will only lead to an increase in prices to the consumer but 99% of the American population won't realize that it is a tax increase or at best a revenue neutral proposition.

I see, so he will increase the taxes on the companies that do the hiring, and reduce the taxes for those that pay the smallest % of taxes anyway.

Yep sounds about right.

It's back to school for you junior. If taxes on corporations are increased, then jobs are lost or moved completely to another country!

Not me.

If you raise taxes on corporations they just pass on the expense to the working class.
