I was nauseas at first then that led to throwing up constantly for the whole first trimester and into the second. I got cramps like I was about to start my period for the first couple of weeks, and I was gassy the whole first trimester. Now, I am 32 weeks and some mornings I feel like my morning sickness is coming back because I will get very nauseas, and my stomach has been cramping for the last couple of days.

I got lucky and never had any morning sickness whatsoever. However, when it came to eating I would all of a sudden feel sick to my stomach and would have to put my food down and be done for a while. I had light cramping my first 6 weeks...but not as bad or constant as my mentrual cramps. They were lighter and just came and went. Around week 3 I knew from those cramps that something was up and decided to take a test. I'm now 21 weeks pregnant with a baby girl!

I didn't have any with my first pregnancy.

This time around... I first noticed it the day of my missed period (my 1st sign I was pregnant- a lot earlier than normal though). Mine is not a full fledged throwing up feeling, although sometimes I think I would feel better IF I could vomit; I just feel like I need to. I feel queasy all day. It doesn't happen (for me) after I eat, it actually gets worse when I miss a meal or am hungry.

I have cramps too, uterus stretching cramps.

Gas..... I have gas like you would not believe, LOL! It's BAD.

I got morning sickness when I was around 8 weeks. I actually never threw up but threw out the day I would feel so sick and like I was going to throw up any minute but never did. Also if I smelled certain foods (even ones I normally would love to smell) it would make me want to throw up! The morning sickness lasted for about a month and never returned :]
I never really had any cramps or gas.

It started out as nausea for a couple of weeks and then moved to vomiting (after the weirdest things! I hate pizza once for dinner and was fine...but that night I had a bowl of Cheerios and it didn't last five seconds!)

Yes, mild cramps are normal, they are the uterus stretching, they feel a little different - I might say "harder" than period cramps, I don't really know how else to describe it. And gassy! Woohoo! Let me tell you...I'm farting for two!

;)

Since everyone else is mention the throwing up (which I also had quite badly) I will mention the cramps. I would wake up in the middle of the night screaming in pain because of leg cramps. It was horrible. I swear they hurt more than the contractions. As for gas, no I dont remember that being much of a problem. Heartburn though. that was bad. During my pregnancy, just to be able to get through the day I would have to carry with me (at all times) 1. Scented Dryer sheets. These helped cover up any bad smells in my area. 2. Tic tacs. I couldnt chew gum. It would make me gag and then throw up. Tic tacs were strong enough to remove any bad taste in my mouth yet small enough to not upset my pregnancy induced overactive gag-reflex. 3. Tums. for all the heartburn caused by my stomach now being in my throat. lol. and 4. Bottled Water. This had many useful purposes. you can drink it of course. you can pour it on your swollen feet for some relief. you can pour it on your head to keep you cool (I live in south Florida) or you can throw it at anyone who happens to piss you off. Very useful item. :)

It started as soon as I woke up in the morning, my stomach started to cramp up, I kept cracker beside my bed and always eat three before I got out of bed. Felling nausea started after I was about two month along, and then the vomitting started this lasted until I was in my fouth month. After the fouth month I could eat breakfast again. Good luck with your paper.

I had real bad morning sickness. I would feel sick to my stomach until i actually vomited. The throw up in the morning wasn't actually the food i ate it was more like saliva. If I smelled anything gross i had to go throw up. I had no cramps and no gas. It was horrible.

i had nausea. i usually had it before i ate and eating made it better. depends what i eat though sometimes i still had it after. i never threw up and now i'm past that point. i'm into my second trimester my nausea stopped about 3 weeks ago. i don't have cramps but i do have lots of stretching, at first i thought it was cramps but once i reall started to pay attention i realized it was stretching.
