No. It's just a silly little option that doesn't do anything harmful to your account. It's either given by someone who is stalking you because they were stung by an answer you gave them, someone who is extremely bored, or someone who doesn't have the same opinion as you.

Only when my answer makes sense or when it's my opinion. When the thumbs down patrol comes around and thumbs downs all the answers I don't really care.

It doesn't upset me it just gets really annoying when I state a fact and some idiot gives me a "thumbs down". I can say something like "I'm 16 years old" and somebody will give me a thumbs down for it. There are a lot of stupid people on Yahoo.
