Hi everybody,
I need an advice. I met a guy and we went out together for about two months. Everything was fine between us, and he seemed really into it. Then he suddenly disappeared. His mobile phone is permantly turned off. I'm seriously worried that something bad may have happened to him. I know his name and surname and the town where he leaves. How can I find him? I know it can sound a stupid question, but I'm getting more and more worried and I don't know what to do. I don't think anybody of his relatives knows about me, so even if something happened they couldn't contact me.
I know that it's extreme, but Is there any newspapers or a web sites where I can check the names of the departed?
Thank you very much to all of you who will answer seriously..

Sounds to me like he just doesn't want to talk to you anymore. Men can be such idiots sometimes. They don't realize that you would actually be genuinely concerned about their welfare when they disappear off the face of the earth. They just assume that you will know they are not into you.

I would say try the old fashioned way...call information. If you know his name and his town, they should be able to help.

Don't embarass yourself though...more than likely he is alive and well, and is just a big ***hole.

Honey, do you think maybe he found someone else and is just a coward and decided to change his mobile phone number, rather than just tell you straight? If you don't think this is the case then maybe try going to his hometown and seeing what information you can find there. I wish you all the best in your quest, as not knowing must be really tough.x

maybe his phone off is a sign he doesnt want to talk to you anymore honey, sorry. you know his name and his surname so google him, or search for him on a social networking site such as Myspace, Bebo, Facebook etc. Failing that, travel to his town and look him up in the local registry office. Check the local papers. Good luck.

Write to his local newspaper to the letters column and ask if anyone knows where he is.
If he has not contacted you by now it could mean several things:
1. He doesn`t want to.
2. He may be ill or even dead.
3. He may have emigrated and, if so, what did you do to make him do that?? Hee hee.

Sounds like he did the "I think she's pregnant so I'll disappear" act. I'm sorry, but he just took off. Try to get over him. Check the obits if it makes you feel better, but it seems he just wasn't that into you....good luck

If you are genuinely worried about this guy, and think he is legit, (not married) or anything like that, then yes for your own piece of mind you should try finding out whats happend to him

You can find anybody on the internet, try puting his details into a people finder, they will charge you for information that you dont have, but at least you will find new leads

Did you try looking for his address in the phone book or on yellowpages.com enter his name and they can find him usually. Then go to his house and knock on the door you never know.

I think you should move on. Your cell phone doesn't disconnect itself... You have to do it willfully. He's fine and most likely doesn't want to have any more contact with you. Like I said... move on.

You can check his city newspapere's website. If he has passed, you will most likely find an obituary. Also, you might try the social security death index.
