Lead hasn't been used in pencils for a long time, they are made of graphite which is not toxic. So just leave'em.

I was stabbed with a pencil in 2nd Grade (about 25 years ago), one answerer is correct, pencils are graphite not lead. Unless you are experiencing any discomfort at those sites (I would hope not if it has been 4 years) I wouldn't worry about it. If pain or other issues then go ahead and get it checked out. I have had no problems (other than the fact that you can still see the gray stab mark (graphite stain) under my skin on my arm, which is just strange not a problem) in 25+ years.

I have 2 small bits on pencil lead(graphite) in my hand since I was a kid in 2nd or 3rd grade. No ill effects as of yet that I know of. I have had a physical every year for the last 5 years with plenty of blood tests. No one has raised any eyebrows to me about it. Dont worry.

I've got two different places where I stuck myself with a pencil. Not on purpose. But that was over 30 years ago.The lead wasn't left in but you and still see the black spots where they were.I wouldn't worry about.Like they said.Pencils are made with graphite, not lead.

pencil lead, is not "lead" it is just carbon graphite, a normal part of every living thing which is why you didn't react to it. If they don't bother you, I wouldn't worry about them.

I would say check with the doctor ASAP for your peace of mind. But I don't think its that serious.
