Nixon was as paranoid as anyone can be , and because of that he authorized a break in at the Democratic HQ. For this, he eventually resigned and would have faced impeachment. Clinton on the other hand, was actually impeached for Perjury and Obstruction of Justice. He was able to manuever his way out of that , but did cut a deal that cost him his Law license. There are far more unanswered questions about Clinton that are more ominous. Vince Foster's supposed suicide. The rose law firm. Whitewater. Rape charges by Jaunita Brodderick and a habitual pattern of sexual abuse of women for decades. All in all, I give Clinton the nod as the most corrupt.

Clinton is much more crooked and corrupt- just follow long list of their scandals in four decades of political life..... while Nixon involved in the watergate ----- Clinton are very lucky able to somehow skate through these scandals and never get indicted!! They both are above the law.

both are ciminals and thought themselves to be above the law. the only redeeming fact about nixon is he had the good taste to resign and avoid a trial.
"The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, William Rehnquist, dressed in his black robes of office, banged his gavel and began the first trial of a president in more than 130 years.
The House of Representatives prosecutors led off the proceeding by accusing Clinton of committing "egregious and criminal acts" that demand his removal from office.
Clinton is charged with perjury and obstruction of justice. Both of the charges relate to his affair with then-intern Monica Lewinsky and his attempts to cover it up. "
"Richard Nixon Resigned
While two American presidents have been impeached: Andrew Johnson and Bill Clinton, no president has been forcibly removed from office. However, one has resigned under intense pressure and fear of not only impeachment but also removal: Richard Nixon. On August 8, 1974, Richard Nixon addressed the nation and resigned from office. He admitted to errors in judgment concerning the coverup of the Watergate break-in. On August, 9, 1974, at noon, Gerald Ford was sworn in and became the first president to never have been elected to either the Vice Presidency or the Presidency."
one of the few things that both politcal parties share in common is that they will do their best to cover up their criminal acts..maybe that is what we all would do, just human nature.

This is a slam dunk - Nixon was by far the most crooked of the two.
In spite of the "Guilt by Accusation" campaign waged by the right wing of the republican party, if you look at the facts that came out in all the seeming dozens of investigations launched during the Clinton administration of either Bill or Hillary Clinton, niether was ever found to have done anything wrong.
Travelgate - no charges brought after a thorough investigation
Whitewater - no charges brought after $50M dollars spent and dozens of press interviews in Washington by Starr during the height of the 'scandal' - then he sneaks off to a Texas to release the statement that the investigation was over and no charges were being sought.
On and on - never any facts to support the charges.
Then they finally set Clinton up in a sting with an illegally obtained recording , and then made a new recording in a different state where they could tape a confidential conversation with only one person aware of the recorder. In it they had statements by Monic that she was going to lie to the grand jurry about having had oral sex with Bill. They failed to challenge Monic when she testified, even thought hey knew whe was lying, in a conspirocy to give false statement to the grand jury. Then they broke Federal Law by leaking the false grand jurry testimony to the press so that Clinton would think all he had to do was say the same thing and he would be off the hook. So he lied and then the sprang the trap by revealing the tape recordings.
But in the end - the only thing they ever proved was that he lied to cover his *** about getting a BJ in the White House.
Nixon on the other hand is on tape - his own recordings by the way - planning to both break the law and to cover up the breakins after the fact. He believed that if he did it - it was legal.
You should have asked about Clinton vs G.W. Bush - now there is a comparison.
Lying to cover up getting a BJ
vs
Lying to get us into a war.
As for Drew and several others coments - again with the guilt by accusation. Whitewater - no charges of any kind against either Bill or Hillary - $50M dollars to prove they made a lousy realestate investment and lost over $100K in the process.
Clinton was impeached for purgery and obstruction of justice - the EXACT same thing that Scooter Liby was convicted of in a court of law. And all you think that giving him a get out a jail free card is just great, but that Clinton gave up his law licence is not good enough for you. In the meantime - Bush has RAPED the constitution and let Osama bin Laden go free for longer that it took to fight the second world war. At least Clinton tried to kill him with a missle in Afganistan, Bush said ' Let's go get that guy who shot at my Daddy' and let the man who inspired the 911 attacks go free to rebuild Al-quida into an even greater threat today than in 2001. Had Clinton been lucky enough to have hit Bin Laden in the missle attack, not just 4000 more people would be alive - almost 8000 would be alive and 24000 would not be maimed. You did not count the fine men and women that Bush sent to the slaughter in unarmed vehicles in Iraq.

Bush, jr. is easily the most crooked. The evil and criminal Nixon isn't even close. In fact, Bush's father is probably a closer second than Nixon and anyone who bothers to look up the crimes of the Reagan administration would have to place Ronny right up there with them.
Here's a look at the Reagan crime machine

Andrew Jackson. Some of the crap he pulled off makes Nixon and Clinton look like rank amateurs.
On the achievements scale, I have to put Nixon a little ahead of Clinton. He did some very good stuff that he receives little recognition for.
On the criminality scale, Nixon wins again. His misdeeds were a level up from Clinton perjuring himself in a sexual harassment lawsuit.

A toss up here. Nixon lied and so did Clinton. Both of them tried to cover up their lies. Both of them used their power to do bad things. A real toss up the way I see it.

Lil' Bush of course.
Not only is his priorities crooked but his head has a few loose screws too.
My most favorite quote from G.Bush
"It isn't pollution that's harming the environment. It's the impurities in our air and water that are doing it."

I love how people cannot answer your question. Clinton was more corrupt- his legacy is 8 yrs of scandal and I doubt the man knows the truth anymore. I'd love to play a game of pool with him though. I would urge people to look into Watergate and what really went down- Nixon was wrong to do the things he did but look into what they were after in the Dems offices- hint something illegal was allegedly going on. Still wrong for Nixon though- Plus give him a bit of leniency afterall he should have been president 8 yrs earlier than he was but there was this whole voter fraud thing...
