Right click on the card on your desktop and select "Properties" from the menu that appears.

It will list one of two things. It will either have a field called "Target" which list the location of a file on your computer. Or it will have a field called "URL".

If it has a "URL", copy that into an e-mail. A URL is already a link which will take them to the card.

If it has a target, then it is an actual file saved on your computer. You can not send a link to a file on your computer. But you could attach the file itself to the email and send it.
