Pedro raced 96kilometers from Perry to Medford and then idled back. If the round trip took 8 hours, what was Pedro's average speed?

he went 96 km and came back same distance so
total distance is 96 + 96 = 192 km

time taken was 8 hrs..

as speed is distance/time,

so, speed = 192/8
speed would be 24 km/h
