Peace roses are a tea rose. You can plant them any time, I think.... I have planted any time from April-August ( i am in zone 3, Minnesota) and as long as it is planted deep enough to cover the 'knot' where the graft is (about an inch below the level of the dirt) and keep it watered... my tea roses do well. Just make sure that the rose you purchase is for your USDA zone so that they can handle whatever weather zone you are in. all of my roses have done great as long as i follow that guideline.

Hi the rose peace is a beautiful rose it was chosen to celebrate the end of the second world war the red and pink in the rose represents the blood that was lost and the yellow hoping for a golden future .Bare root plants sping and autumn container enytime H.

Spring and Autumn generally best time to plant most roses. (and all sorts of other plant). Have I understood you are talking about Rosa 'Peace'?

About the peace rose. You can plant roses anytime, but waiting until Autumn would be best unless you already have the rose and it's sitting in it's pot. If you have it already then by all means, plant it now. Just make sure you water it at the base every day for the next two weeks and then you can cut back to once a week and it should be just fine. Just remember, Spring and Autumn are the best times to plant any perennial.

If container grown any time is OK providing you water it well. If it is a bare root one you will only be able to buy and plant these when they are dormant.

i think the best time of year normally when its not a monsoon outside is september time.
