Hey wait a minute, some nutjob emailed me today and called me an unemployed left wing ******. Nice way to talk to a grandma.
Really though, I keep seeing the same idea that Democrats are unemployed, on the dole, looking for handouts, want your money and are lazy. How can they be all that and rich and upper class too?
Even Paris works.
The only difference really is that rich Democrats do have some compassion for the middle and lower economic classes and they don't go into shock at the thought of spending some of their own money so that the less fortunate are helped when they are ill.
That's called putting your money where your mouth is, something the Republicans do by kissing their wallets.

The Democrats really hate the rich last time one was in office. The Democrats are all about the poor people (supposedly). The Republicans have always been for big business. That means all the wealthy. The Republicans give tax cuts for the rich. Most buisnesses are Republicans.

Both parties are for the rich and upper class. What do you think allows this country or any country to operate and function. Poverty never produced anything but hunger and prosperity for those higher on the ladder of success. In this country we have the freedom to try and better ourselves and climb the ladder. To think either major party favors anybody or has the sole support of any focus group is unfounded.

You should be asking where you get your information. Democrats typically vote on things like welfare reform (think Welfare Reform act 1996, Bill Clinton) and the raising of minimum wage. Republicans vote for tax breaks for businesses. In fact, when the Democratic house proposed a bill earlier this year to raise minimum wage, after much bickering the Republican minority compromised it with tax cuts for the wealthy.
My question is: why do poor people vote Republican? It's foolish.

And, the GOP is for the poor, the middle class and the average joe six pack? Is that the second part of your question?
The 2 parties are actually one party with 2 wings. Their objectives are the same but they approach it in a slightly different way. One plays the good cop or softer side (the dems) and the other plays the bad cop or the harsher abusive side. But their goals are the same and so are their corporate sponsors.

Huh?
This is some dumb propaganda if I've ever heard it..
The opposite is obviously true.
If Republicans are so concerned about the poor, then why did Haliburton up and move their corporate headquarters to Dubai? Why didn't they build it in New Orleans? (The answer is: NO OIL in New Orleans)
Why did Bush give "corporate welfare" higher than ANY other President in the history of the world?
Why are Republicans against Universal Healthcare and getting kick backs from the pharmaceutical companies and insurance companies for their policies?

I dont know but what I do know is that their policies intrude into every aspect of American life and their social policies hinder the advancement of those at the lower ends of the ladder rather than help but since those people dont vote, they can get away with policies that keep people dependent rather than help them become independent. They also support unions who at one time were very necessary but that have now turned a corner and are shake down machines that far too often protect worthless employees from termination rather than just the ones that are actually doing their jobs. Plus they intentionally play the race card and class warfare games in order to ndivide Americans- That is just wrong. United we stand, divided we...

Ever heard money is the root of all evil...but it doesn't necessarily specify the lack thereof or the possesion.... There are lower class democrats...and upper class repub's but it just really depends on peoples opinions...thats all...doesn't really matter about the money...

It's not.
One of the main party planks for the Democrats is social programs for the poor and for those who are not rich.
So, if anything, the Democrats (as a political party) are in favor of supporting the lower classes at the expense of the upper classes.
