Anikin is just asking to have him tormented all throughout school.

Astrid is a girl's name (European - I think Dutch)

Keegan is the best of these awful choices

Kessler sounds more like somebody's last name. They would be your downstairs neighbor in New York city.

Have a little thought about what its going to be like growing up with the name that you choose. Will he be proud of it or cringe when the teacher says it or worst when some kid makes fun of it as someone surely will. Kids can be pretty mean. Try to remember back to when you were a kid. Its worst for boys growing up. Some kids can take growing up with weird names but I've seen a lot of them suffer needlessly because of it. People shy away from common names because they want uniqueness but remember that also means sticking way out from the crowd and a lot of kids don't always want that. I knew I guy whose last name was Brown. He wanted to call his kid - Pound Aground. Put it together. The thing is he was the kind that would do it. Also the people that come up with Thomas Thompson need to think a little more too. Just think about your kid in this case more than want you yourself want. Just a suggestion.

I like Keegan, however when picking a name just keep in mind what kinds of things rhyme with the name, or nick names, because kids can be mean, don't think I'd go with "Astrid"(A**troid)-just a thought

I would also look up the meaning of the names. Kessler for instance, is a German name and it means "Kettle Maker", Keegan is Celtic and means "small & fiery bright flame". If you change the spelling a little to Kegan, it means: "Bright Shining Flame"

Sorry - Astrid is a definite girl's name..... I actually have it on my list, for a girl.... It's great to give a girl a boy name but it really doesn't work the other way....

I like Kessler. I'm not opposed to Anikin, but Keegan is like Logan and Hayden and Peyton - trendy now and becoming overused....
