My Montana van (2000) won't start after I have used the air on a hot day. It will keep going, it doesn't stall, but when you shut it off and go to restart it (say I have gone into a store for instance and a little while later go to leave and it won't start) I have to let it sit for awhile (how long, I am not sure), but this is the second time it has happened and I am now convinced that is has something to do with using the air on a hot day. Because I haven't used the air at all on a hot day since it did it the last time. And sure enough, it happened again. What could this problem be? If anyone has any ideas, it would be greatly appreciated.

If the engine is not turning over, it may that your battery is starting ot fail. If the engine is turning over then it may be running hot and the fuel may be igniting before it is suppose to. With the heat, you may have a sensor that is also starting to fail, like a crank position sensor.
take it to a shop and have the error codes read. There may be one that will confirm the problem.
