Babies have cycles of activity in and out of the womb. Try a fetal kick count. Lay down after eating a snack and count how many times your baby kicks, rolls, or swishes in an hour. It should be ten times. If it isn't then try again a little later and if the results don't improve call your doctor.

They are little people in there just like us on the outside. There are days you feel more lazier than others too. Thats all it is. The baby is just having a lazy day. I used to have that happen all the time with my second pregnancy. There were days when she'd seem to be bouncing off the walls in there and then there'd be a few days at a time when I would hardly feel her in there. It would freak me out too but my Dr. expalined to me that she was just more content hanging out than playing around in there at that time...

i was reading online about this subject earliar this week. sorry i do not have the site but on it it said, as the baby gets older and bigger, and the space gets smaller the baby kind of slows down and goes into a hibernation mode. they also said they do not move as much because they are preparing themselves for the big day. Congrats on the baby!

All is normal. Don't worry. They do a lot of different things as they grow inside.

Best of luck with your new baby!
