I am two months pregnant with my second child. My first child is twenty one months old and keeps trying to hit my stomach or push his hands into it or sit on my stomach. I think cause now I am sensitive to my stomach that he picked up on that and has it out for my stomach. I am trying to stop him from doing it but every once in awhile he takes me by suprise and manages to do it. Will my unborn baby be okay?

It should should be ok, let your son know that he has a baby bubby or sissy in there and he needs to becareful or he will hurt it.Talk to him about it and be as sensative about it as possible. Explain to him the he was once in your belly too. He my be young but he will understand and just keep on him about not being so rough

I think the best way to approach this would be to sit your child down and try to explain to him/her (you didn't specify) that that they were once in your "belly" and how would they feel if someone had hit and pushed on them while they were in there. If reasoning doesn't work, a form of disipline would be the next step. If you are hit to hard it can cause a miscarriage and the risk intensifies as you get farther along. Yep, your baby should be fine. A little pushing won't hurt but keep letting your son know that it is not nice and hurts you. Fake cry or gently push his stomach back so he can see why you don't like it. If that doesn't work, get firm, pull his had back, and say "no." Several times of this should help and you can take away his favorite desserts.

if you let him hit you in the stomach and he hits you hard enough in the right spot it could end up causing a miscarriage. Why would you let your child hit you anyway? if my daughter hit me in the stomach i would yell at her and tell her that it was naughty. If she kept doing it I would spank her. I told my daughter what was in my belly when she was 13 months old and she would kiss and hug it. Tell him why he shouldn't hit your belly and make it clear that if he does he could really hurt the baby

Your urterus is very strong and I'm sure that blows from a 21 month old will not harm the baby. Smack his hand and tell him no and not to do that again.
