A preacher is still a human being, people need to realize that. I'm a preachers child.... I grew up in the church... I've sinned with married preachers ( some young, some old enough to be my grandfather) .
On top of that most preachers are men.. men with the power of influence over people. When a man says he is a preacher you tend to trust him, you tend to believe that he is of God... in reality he's just a man......a human man... with hormones, wants, needs & desires.
Oh and you can't place all the blame on him, you did have your part in this fiasco.
#1 he's 29 and is living with someone ( bad sign)
#2 he had sex with you ( um preachers aren't suppose to do that)
#3 he obviously has terrible money management skills ( why would you want a man like that)
#4 he a liar ( um hello! he's a liar)
#5 lazy ( hey were you paying attention?)
so I feel you are equally to blame. All I can say is if you have a son raise him to be a man, a real man, a better man than his father could ever dream of being! Let the past be the past and learn from your experience!

You are mother of child of this thief ?? ... or you are about to be mother after some time.?? this is not clear
..but one thing is sure that you loved him..
whether you regret it now , makes no difference..
Universal truth is that , every lover feels bitterness of the love.. but this way is very unfortunate.
Here you are hurt because of his Cheating ,
You also feel insulted/humiliated because he put a dagger in your back..
How can you face his those who are cheated by this Preacher ,
He cheated his colleague, his boss, parents,
One thing is sure that he is USED TO cheating and he has made this as his STYLE OF LIVING AND LIVELY HOOD Too.
He is incorrigible cheat and thief.. if I say so...
Continuing to live with him will be a burdening yourself emotionally, physically and financially .. not only burdening , but allowing yourself to be exploited too.
I feel the whores and prostitutes would not be feeling so helpless as a person feels when s/he is cheated..
as an civilized adult you owe duty to gentleman husband and not to a thief.
If you take Pity on you .such that
- he will come and cry like a baby,
-will sear by Jesus and his child.
-hold you in his arms.. , etc. then YOU WILL MELT.
but this will be Falling a prey to his well rehearsed and repeated DRAMA..
I have found ,after years of my experience in such/similar situations, that ... .
..IF YOU PITY A PERSON, HE MAKES MAKES YOU PITIABLE.. (this is something which needs a long debate and discussion)
coming to your point, I feel ,
You should deliver the child if not done..
bring him/her up,
give best education,
keep the photo of Jesus and father of child by side of bed. and keep on reminding to child , One is God the Father , and other is just Godfather , a mafia who is responsible for your troubles,,
Be a brave woman.. get into some learning needed skill, immerse yourself in the activities. and bring up the child..
No other new relationship ,love, new husband will give you peace but you may get more stressed out..
Because you have to love your new husband , you have to love your present child and you have to forget the old wounds. How will you be able to balance
You have to have great will power... and trust in God..

You already know what we'll think of him. I am not going to side with you on this one. As you so eloquently put it "got me pregnant"... what, did he rape you?! Unless he did, then you both got yourself pregnant. What were you doing having unprotected sex with a "preacher" that had already displayed such winning qualities. You should have been able to see him for what he was after a month at the most. I suspect since you stayed with him and became pregnant with his child, that you are not much better than he is.

Sad state of affairs.
After reading this, I am reminded of why som many people are anti 'organized religion'
Wonder how well the 'preacher' thing will go over in prison?

It seems like you know enough to make an informed decision by now. It don't matter to me what his profession, he seems like a scumbag and you probably would be wise to write off the debt and keep him out of your life. Too bad about that "lil reminder of him" that will be connected to you for the rest of your life :)

No one is perfect but that doesn't mean you should put up with a loser, preacher or not. Most preachers or theology students I know aren't having premarital sex either.

If he really is a preacher, in a position of leadership of his church, you need to talk to his superiors about his behavior. This is completely inappropriate for someone in ministry, particularly in leadership. They need to rebuke him in a biblical manner.

My opinion is, it doesn't surprise me one bit. My ex-preacher was a lieing, cheating thief also. He is still taking advantage of the church.

I guess this is what you get for having premarital sex.
You should have left him the first signs of hid odd behavior.
