Zurich to London is a candidate for flying.

See http://www.skyscanner.net for possible connections. You could travel by train and bus to Frankfurt/Hahn (Ryanair) airport or to Karlsruhe, Stuttgart or Munich if you cannot find any really cheap flights from Zurich.

Train is slow and it is the most expensive option. (Unless you travel through Germany by Schoene-Wochenende-Ticket, which makes it even slower.) Bus might also be possible, but should be the last option as it is mega-slow and hence very uncomfortable.
